Clinical Education is an integral part of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) who work to ensure that Students, Trainees and Clinical Staff are supported in the delivering safe and evidence based patient care through quality placements.
The post holder will ensure the effective route of both Undergraduate and Postgraduates through their attachment to CTMUHB, and will act as a focal point for the ongoing teaching and training requirements for all Health Care Professional Students, with a focus on pharmacy undergraduate students.
The post holder will be required to work independently, managing own workload and effectively deliver a wide range of duties including some pastoral care duties and also be required to work flexibly within a busy office environment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Senior Clinical Administrator role to work as part of the Clinical Education Team, to implement a high quality administration service for undergraduate clinical placements, focusing on pharmacy and ensuring the effective route of Pharmacy Undergraduate Students during their placement in the University Health Board .
We are looking for a conscientious and adaptable person with excellant interpersonal and communication skills to join the team. The post holder will need to be highly motivated, have a flexible approach to work and demonstrate good organisational skills and IT proficiency.
Candidates will have previous experience at a high level and be able to balance competing priorities effectively. Previous experience in a healthcare and /or education settings would been an advantage but not essential. The post holder will be required to work independently managing own workload to effectively deliver a wide range of duties. They will also act as a support for the ongoing teaching and training requirements for all undergraduate healthcare professional students.
The post holder will hold a specified range of skills, knowledge and experience and will be required to demonstrate how they would maintain a professional and sensitive manner at all times.
The ability to speak welsh is desirable for this post. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
