Full Job Description

Applications are invited for 2 Clinical Fellow post in Obstetric Anaesthesia at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This post is for 6 months - 1 year from February 2025

The post holder will work in a 1 in 8 EWTD compliant rota to provide anaesthetic cover in obstetrics on labour ward and support the on call anaesthetic team when necessary including the theatre anaesthetists and ICU team.

At The Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital

· Maternity / Labour Ward analgesia and anaesthesia

· Theatres / Anaesthesia and Perioperative care, including pre-operative assessment

· Pain and analgesia service

· Transfer of patients to other hospitals

· Resuscitation service

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
