Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

This is a one-year post (extendable for an exceptional candidate) with 50% of the post holders time being involved in medical education including simulation-based teaching and the other 50% providing registrar level clinical service. Teaching provision The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Develop a wide-ranging understanding of educational theory and teaching methodology supported by the clinical lead for Education and the HEE KSS simulation lead.
• Work as a collaborative member of the multi-professional education team including practice development midwives, obstetricians, obstetric anaesthetists and fetal monitoring midwives to deliver our maternity training programme.
• Develop and maintain educational materials and teaching aids and tools.
• Develop and deliver simulation scenarios under the supervision of the clinical lead for education in collaboration with the trust simulation team.
