Full Job Description

The Royal Derby Respiratory Unit delivers high-quality sub-specialty services including lung cancer, COPD, asthma, ILD, bronchiectasis, tuberculosis, and sleep/NIV. This is a replacement post that will support the pleural and lung cancer services. The Clinical Fellow will be responsible, under the direction of the consultants, for delivering inpatient care, day case pleural activity, out-patient clinics and medical student teaching. In addition, they will gain experience in EBUS and thoracoscopy in a centre which performs over 180 of these procedures per year. On-call commitments includes evening and weekend cover within the respiratory and medical HDU rota.
