Senior Clinical Fellow in Spinal Surgery

Applications are invited for this fixed term appointment. This post will hold the salary equivalent to Training grades ST6-8 and is fixed term for 12 months.

This post is based at the Luton & Dunstable University Hospital but may include duties Bedford Hospital as the spinal service is further developed.

A candidate who is unable for personal reasons to undertake the duties of a whole-time will receive equal consideration. If such a candidate is appointed the job content will be modified as appropriate in consultation with consultant colleagues and local management., The Spine Fellow (SF) will be responsible to the two consultants in spine surgery and for maintaining continuity of in-patient care for spinal surgery patients. They will also be expected to do weekends on call for general trauma on a 1: 4 rota, if required (there is additional remuneration available for this).
