Full Job Description

This post will join the team of consultants responsible for the provision of acute surgical services at Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB. The post will be part of the Trauma and Orthopaedic (T&O) Team and provide support to the on call rota . The post arises due to a vacancy in the Middle grade tier. The post holder will be required to support the delivery of outpatient, inpatient and emergency services for the local population and in doing so foster excellent working relationships within and outside the specialist area, including medical, nursing, secretarial and support staff, General Practitioners and Management Teams.

Please note that this role will cover the whole Health Board and our 3 acute sites as well as satellite sites where we may deliver surgical activity. Due to unforeseen circumstances this role will initially be based in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant, with the base moving to Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend for the later half of the fixed term.
