Full Job Description
Our rotations are 6 or 12 months in duration and provide opportunities to experience various clinical specialties, as well as chances to work in operational roles such as clinical governance, medicines management, antimicrobial stewardship, aseptics and education and training., You will work closely with the wider clinical pharmacy team to maximise medicines optimisation by:o Reviewing individual patient's medicineso Developing a role as a key member of the multidisciplinary teamo Supporting the training and education of junior pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists, technicians and other healthcare staffo Participation in formulary management and financial monitoring of drug expenditure in conjunction with directorate pharmacistso Developing, implementing and monitoring prescribing guidelines.Full training and an extensive CPD programme is provided, along with opportunities to attend annual conferences such as UKCPA.
You will be self-motivated and organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work effectively alone and as part of a team.
