Senior Clinical Pharmacist

Our rotations are 6 or 12 months in duration and provide opportunities to experience various clinical specialties, as well as chances to work in operational roles such as clinical governance, medicines management, antimicrobial stewardship, aseptics and education and training., You will work closely with the wider clinical pharmacy team to maximise medicines optimisation by:

• Reviewing individual patient's medicines
• Developing a role as a key member of the multidisciplinary team
• Supporting the training and education of junior pharmacists, pre-registration pharmacists, technicians and other healthcare staff
• Participation in formulary management and financial monitoring of drug expenditure in conjunction with directorate pharmacists
• Developing, implementing and monitoring prescribing guidelines.
