Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in establishing and developing the Mind Mate Support Team, which is a part of the Governments Green Paper ambitions to transform children and young peoples mental health, with one of the key priorities being to increase access to mental health support in schools and colleges. The Mind Mate Support Team offers early intervention support and currently has 4 MHSTs and have been successful in gaining funding for an additional team., The SCP holds a small caseload of CYP offering evidence-based Low intensity CBT interventions to address their needs. The SCP works with education settings, offering consultation, advice & training to education staff.

The SCP offers clinical supervision, caseload management supervision & day-to-day clinical leadership to the team & supports clinical decision making. The SCP supports the Clinical Team Manager, provides leadership to the team, attending team leadership meetings & contributes to wider service innovation. The SCP participates in multi-disciplinary team meetings, group supervision & links in with the CYPMHS teams. The SCP leads key meetings, partnerships with external agencies & other teams within LCH. The SCP supports development & research projects within the service.

We are looking to recruit a Senior clinical Practitioner(SCP) to provide high quality care to children, young people ( CYP) , and their families, and to offer clinical leadership to the wider MMST. You will also be a part of the wider services leadership team, contributing to service development and partnership working., We welcome individuals with excellent communication & engagement skills ,commitment to improving service delivery, knowledge of the education system and experience of working in a mental health setting.
