Full Job Description
The post is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Allied Health Professional to build upon and advance their leadership and managerial skills. The focus of the role is on providing clinical leadership in the development of the new Specialist Older Adults Mental Health (SOAMHS) and to deputise for the team Manager with the day to day running of this service.
The focus of the service will be to ensure that patients receive assessment and therapeutic intervention to maximise their independence, safety and wellbeing. The interventions will include education, individual work and group work and will involve working closely with patients, carers, statutory and voluntary agencies, within a multi-disciplinary team. They will hold their own complex caseload of patients.
The post holder will be based in one of the community teams in Ealing and they will be undertaking home visits, meetings at the team base and other community sites.
