Full Job Description
You will join the multi-professional teams in delivering the rehabilitation program in line with evidenced based practice. Your goal will be to assist individuals with severe mental health problems to re-establish their lives in the community. The post offers opportunity for individual therapy with psychosis and other co-morbid difficulties, family work and group work.
There will be opportunities to offer reflective practice & facilitate team case formulation sessions. Joint working & teaching to staff on psychological approaches will also be an expectation.
The Rehabilitation teams value a psychological approach to service delivery so you can be assured of a warm welcome to the service. Further professional development & service related research will be supported and encouraged.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation work in In-patient Rehabilitation Services in Kent!
The service has been recognised by CQC for its OUTSTANDING work. You will provide psychological intervention to two in-patient rehab units: The Grove & Rivendell.
We can support newly qualified staff through preceptorship to senior grade. You can be assured of regular high-quality supervision alongside the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and work creatively with service users.
The service provides intensive, multidisciplinary assessment, treatment and care to adults with complex psychosis. The team work collaboratively with service users to develop person-centred care plan focusing on individual goals for recovery. Individual and group interventions and personalised social and vocational activities in the community are central to the therapy programme. The goal is to support individuals in their recovery journey and to empower them with the knowledge and skills to ensure their recovery is sustainable in their local community
