Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Clinical Scientist with Medical Physics Expert certification who has a passion for delivering high quality radiotherapy services? Are you ready to take on a senior role to support and develop these areas within a forward-thinking and technically-advanced department? If so, then why not become part of our excellent Radiotherapy Physics team at the Royal Surrey Cancer Centre., The successful candidate will provide scientific support at Medical Physics Expert level within the radiotherapy service. They will specialize in two areas out of the following, with the detail to be agreed between the successful candidate and appointing manager: Treatment Planning; Brachytherapy; Dosimetry & QA. There will be opportunities to contribute to developments and clinical research to enable continuing implementation and expansion of state-of-the-art techniques. Candidates with at least 2 years operating at MPE level will also be offered the opportunity to undertake a lead role within the department, assuming managerial responsibility for an aspect of the service.
