Full Job Description

You will be joining a friendly team to provide an excellent and comprehensive Paediatric and Adolescent Service within UCL Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The service was recently highly commended by the Healthy London Partnership following peer review. This post is equivalent to other general paediatric registrars including long day on-call and night shifts. Alongside work in General/Adolescent medicine, there are opportunities to develop skills and gain experience in paediatric allergy, asthma, infectious diseases, haemoglobinopathy and epilepsy, in addition to participating in clinical research and quality improvement. A weekly attending system for General paediatrics is in operation and all junior doctors are closely supervised and supported.We are passionate about providing excellent clinical care alongside the best training opportunities. You would join a highly motivated team at the cutting edge of both service development and academic research. The department has received excellent feedback for the many training opportunities offered both in clinical and non-clinical areas including education, leadership and management skills.
