Client focus - Deliver on our promise :

You will manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.

You will be accountable for the preparation of contract documents, warranties, bonds and licenses to achieve formal execution by appropriate parties.

You will manage costing associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities and client charges, and present these to clients.

Management of NEC3 Option C construction contracts, including reviewing and responding to contract communications, compensation events, early warnings, quotations, and applications for payment.

Managing the commercial activities and their inter relation on major workstreams, projects, and programmes to deliver commercial control, including identifying and assessing potential risks to commercial agreements and supplier performance.

Preparation of monthly project commercial reports, including contract data metrics, value of work completed to date (VOWD) and cash flow forecasts to completion.

Management of claims, mitigation and advising on defence of claims, including analysis of the various parties' positions.

Plan, deliver and manage procurement activities for the HV power team.

Developing packaging and procurement strategies for large, complex infrastructure projects.

NEC forms of contract, and the ability to manage contract administration, including contract communications, change control, variation / compensation event assessment, valuation / certification, contract remedies and contract close out.

Use of Asite Contract Administration Management System (CAMS).

Use of SAP for contract reporting and payments.

Applicable commercial regulations, public procurement and legislation.

Cost reporting - including production of cash flow forecasts, variance reporting and analysis.

Risk and value management and their application in developing strategies, estimates and cost plans.

TfL / rail experience

HV power experience

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong people management skills.

Well-developed listening skills, tact and diplomacy, and the ability to manage stakeholders.

Excellent numeracy and data analysis skills.

Stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills.

Experience working on procurement projects for complex service, systems, or construction projects over £150m in a regulated sector.

Experience of infrastructure systems or delivering civil works contracts in an operational environment would be an advantage.

Hold or be taking professional stage of membership of The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors., We are also open to discussing part-time, flexible, and hybrid working options if suitable within the role.
