In our pursuit of excellence within our finance department here at Carnival UK, we're seeking individuals who are not just adept at numbers but who also bring a wealth of commercial expertise to the table for our Senior Commercial Finance Manager position., Based within our Finance partnering team this newly created role offers an opportunity for the Senior Manager to be an instigator of the vision and direction this role will take. Partnering with our Maritime operations you will drive and enhance the financial performance, exploiting your deep understanding of the commercial activities in this area, ensuring continuous improvement across a broad range of business challenges.,

  • Partner with the Maritime and Sustainability SLT members and their direct reports to build strong relationships and develop a thorough understanding of their business area to enhance commercial opportunities
  • Liaise with Maritime stakeholders to ensure robust contract and commercial management is supported with accurate, timely and insightful finance data
  • Drive and lead insight to analyse the value and profitability of the maritime area to suggest both discreet projects and holistic strategies, to improve business performance
  • Perform analysis and prepare financial models to support strategic long-term planning across maritime, sustainability and decarbonisation

    Our ideal candidates are those who possess not only the technical skills required for accounting but also a passion for finance and a keen eye for detail. Your academic background and professional certifications in accounting will be the foundation of your role within our team., Relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or Degree
  • Experience of a Finance business partnering / commercial/strategic planning role
  • Excellent analysis, communication, and presentation skills
