Full Job Description
This position reports into our Compliance Officer Region Europe with a dotted line into the UK Country Manager. Therefore, this position offers a high degree of autonomy together with the opportunity to be at the forefront of commercial decisions to support and drive our business priorities. We will be looking for you to offer proactive counsel on all areas of responsibility to our Senior Leadership team. You will report to the Head of Compliance/Compliance Officer Region Europe on strategic compliance, data protection projects and whistle-blower investigations. Key Accountabilities will include: Strategic interaction with Senior Leadership
- + Offer proactive counsel on all areas of responsibility to our Senior Leadership team + Prepare or contribute to presentations and communication materials Strategic and tactical interaction with global/regional organisation + Support to Country Manager/Business Support Manager in UK + Support to Head of Compliance/Compliance Officer Region Europe, Emerging Markets and Global Operation on regional business ethics compliance initiatives + Assist Data Protection Officer on regional data protection compliance initiatives + Advise Coloplast Country Manager/Business Support Manager on business ethics compliance issues and identify and innovate resilient, durable and business efficient compliance solutions and processes + Collaboration with Compliance Managers in Region Europe and with Corporate Business Ethics & Compliance on regional and global business ethics compliance initiatives i.e. through active participation in CP Global Compliance Forum + Independently advise Coloplast management on compliance issues when supporting/advising subsidiaries on compliance challenges + Provide regular updates and interpretations of the UK compliance regulations to create an operating framework + Provide support and guidance with the creation of external communications related to compliance matters + Local compliance risk assessments and mitigation plans Tactical and operational responsibility + Independent project management and implementation of local and national business ethics compliance projects + Draft local policies or policy templates and processes to enhance Coloplast's compliance programme + Be a subject matter expert on: o Code of conduct and other global compliance policies (incl. Business Ethical Standards) o MedTech Europe Standards and regulations o Bribery act, Modern Slavery Act and other regulation on Business Ethics Compliance o Compliance best practices o Data protection and GDPR + Develop local compliance training concepts and conduct in person compliance training of managers and employees, and monitor completion rates on e-learning and other courses + Chair UK MedTech Grants Committee + Manage UK Pool of Qualified HCPs in line with MedTech requirement, in close collaboration with Heads of Education + Provide regular updates and interpretations of the UK compliance regulation to create an operating framework + Provide support and guidance with the creation of external communications related to compliance matters + Local compliance and data protection risk assessments and mitigation plans
To be successful in this role you will be able to work on both strategic, tactical and operational levels and deliver on deadlines. You will be impactful, influential and solution orientated with an excellent ability to manage multiple stakeholders. You will have a strong desire to have a thorough commercial understanding, with a robust drive, determination and resilience., - MBA/Masters degree
- Experience of Compliance
- Preferably experience in Medical Devices or Pharma industry
- Has held roles with interaction with management
- Advantage to have experience from similar roles within business ethics in the private sector Personal Characteristics to be successful:
