Full Job Description

A Contract Management team will be established within the procurement department that will have the responsibility to ensure contract management will take place for the trusts contracts. The team will consists of a Senior Contract Manager and a Contract Manager., The person fulfilling the role will together with the Contract Manager provide a professional Contract support service and develop the role from scratch. The tasks will be to study the contracts and to establish a programme of management meetings together with the contract owners in the divisions. The role is a supporting function, but will be responsible for successful contract management by ensuring supplier performance is discussed and the contracts shall deliver value for money. With a background in the contract management the Senior contract manager can play a role in establishing new contracts by giving input on the contract management element of a new contract.
