Senior Contract Manager - FM

We are looking for a Senior Contract Manager to join the Commercial Property Maintenance team based out of 51 Moorgate. The purpose of the role will be to support the General Manager in leading and managing a safe, environmentally sound, efficient, effective business in line with the Skanska values and way of working. You will also ensure the provision of services is competitive on value, managed to budget, delivers a quality and responsive service which is client focused and meets the contractual requirements. You'll:

• Manage, coach & develop the team, ensuring the work of the team is of the required quality and completed in a timely manner. Effective performance management of the team, ensuring strong engagement and enablement
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers, support the General Manager in the identification of growth opportunities on the existing contract and seek additional works above and beyond existing contractual delivery
• Create a safe, healthy, environmentally sound working environment by taking reasonable care of own personal health & safety and that of others and the environment around them. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) 1974 and contractual obligations. Adhere to Skanska H&S, Quality and Environmental Policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance in line with legal contractual requirements and focus on Operational Excellence to ensure continuous improvement and innovative working.
• Support the General Manager in delivery of the financial performance in line or improved on bid position, supported by the Commercial Manager to develop strategies to manage risk, provide operational leadership on forecasting and budget setting.
• Handle effective management of the supply chain to ensure effective and proactive service delivery.
  
  An engineering qualification would be preferred
• Sound knowledge of FM industry
• A member of industry association (BIFM, CIBSE or similar)
• Proven leadership and development skills
• Client relationship management skills
• Good all round communication skills
• A good leader, commercially and financially astute and with the ability to provide positive leadership and clear direction to a wide-ranging team
• Knowledge and experience of the commercial and legal structure of complex projects
• Educated to Degree level (or equivalent)
