Full Job Description

  • Conveyancing Transactions: Manage residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including, purchases and re-mortgages for a FTSE 100 bank.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for the firm's banking client, ensuring high-quality service and prompt responses to inquiries.
  • Title Investigations: Conduct title searches, review land registry documents, and resolve any discrepancies or issues affecting property titles.
  • Legal Due Diligence: Perform due diligence on property transactions, identifying and resolving legal risks or issues prior to completion.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with UK conveyancing laws, regulations, and Law Society standards, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and client due diligence.
  • Reporting and Updates: Provide regular updates to the banking client, the internal legal team, and other stakeholders on transaction progress and completion timelines.
  • Post-Completion Work: Oversee the registration of the banks security at HM Land Registry.

    We are looking for a skilled Conveyancer to join our highly regarded Real Estate team, known for its work with top financial institutions. The successful candidate will handle a wide range of property transactions, focusing primarily on conveyancing services for a major bank. This role requires expertise in UK property law, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of transactions., Education: Licensed conveyancer, Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of conveyancing experience.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of UK property law, particularly in conveyancing
  • Communication Skills: Clear, professional, and concise communication skills, with the ability to maintain strong client relationships.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in reviewing legal documents.
  • Organisation: Ability to manage a large caseload of conveyancing transactions simultaneously, and work to strict deadlines.
