Full Job Description

The role will involve working as a team with other Senior Course Administrator to deliver a high volume of one-to-two days courses across different subject areas that are open to the general public. As the Senior Course Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration of multiple courses, and will carry out a range of duties. These will include, but are not limited to, answering student enquiries, liaising with tutors to ensure course details are correct and that contracts are prepared and processed correctly, setting up course websites on departmental systems, maintain up-to-date and accurate data using departmental systems, and to register students in person on the day the courses are held. This is a full-time/part-time (FTE) position, available on a permanent/fixed-term contract.

You should have a solid background in student administration, with excellent organisational and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the preparation and delivery of in person, online and hybrid events, with processing student enrolments and answering queries by email as well as in person and over the phone, and be comfortable interacting with a diverse range of people. Experience working with student databases and with financial arrangements such as preparing course budgets is essential. Flexibility is important, as you may be required to take on additional administrative responsibilities related to course administration. Strong attention to detail, a collaborative working style, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are crucial.
