Full Job Description

  • Work closely with 1st LoD partners providing oversight and challenge for the in scope sectors.
  • Role demands excellence in due diligence, analysis, underwriting, monitoring, while ensuring global consistency across regions.
  • Strong knowledge of Derivatives and Structured Lending and associated complex products.
  • Ability to negotiate and review/challenge credit terms across both Trading (Markets) and Lending agreements.
  • Proactively monitor portfolio metrics from an exposure, stress, and factor sensitivity perspective

    The candidate will be part of the Alternatives Sector 2nd LOD (line of defense) review and challenge function, covering Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, and Institutional Family Offices. Product scope will include Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, Prime Brokerage, Subscription Call Facilities, Fund Financing, and Structured Lending. Although the candidate should have the experience ofmanaging all Alternative counterparty types, the focus is expected to be on the Private Markets industry, which is a key growth area of the Firm., Demonstrated Years experience in a Risk Management role, covering the Alternatives Sector.
  • Ability to understand capital markets products and complex financing and product structures
  • Ability to navigate Risk Policy and manage portfolio within Risk Appetite parameters.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and within short timelines.
  • Leadership qualities, strong ethics, and integrity
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to interact with Senior Business Partners
