We're looking for skilled and experienced Senior Security Vulnerability Managers to provide support in delivering our vulnerability management program and align it with our security risk strategy and performance objectives. You'll be providing security governance and overseeing the vulnerability management process across the department. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex situations in a way that draws out the essential facts to enable decisions to be made based on risk-based criteria and make recommendations/judgments, based on knowledge and experience to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience of working on complex IT infrastructures and across a multi-cloud and on-premises environment, with a solid grasp of cloud security principles and technologies for cloud-hosted services.
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the methods and tools used for conducting vulnerability assessments against large and complex infrastructure.
- Demonstrable experience in examining and analysing new cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities and suggest strategies to mitigate them.
- Ability to apply expertise and insight to enrich threat information, including understanding the behaviour, capabilities and activities of threat actors and assessing possible implications, prioritising remediation of identified vulnerabilities for multiple systems.
- Excellent level of knowledge of relevant cybersecurity standards and frameworks with certification at foundation level (or working towards) in at least one, combined with practical experience of implementing frameworks or applying standards to a complex IT environment You and your role A key aspect of the role is validating configurations across interconnected and complex systems. Your expertise will enable you to translate industry standards into tailored policies, procedures, and guidelines, driving improvements in our security posture and championing best practices across the organization. In addition, you will develop and implement vulnerability management programs, create assessment templates, and ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements. Leading a small team, you will provide mentorship and foster a collaborative approach to achieving security excellence.
