Full Job Description

  • Delivering the work products specified Cybersecurity Plan for an assigned subset of vehicle components in line with the CSMS, to successfully achieve vehicle Type Approval
  • Lead creation of TARAs, Cybersecurity Concepts, Vulnerability Analysis, Architecture Design, IV&V Test Specifications, and other inputs into the Cybersecurity Case.
  • Initiating and conducting sub-system design reviews as necessary to resolve cybersecurity concerns.
  • Initiating and conducting meetings with suppliers and Technical Partners as required, monitoring supplier progress against the CIAD.
  • Perform system review, verification & validation activities including functional tests, penetration testing, and other tests throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Supervision of junior team members.

    Broad amount of experience in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or Automotive Engineering related degree, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrates resilience and fosters good working relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers/partners.
  • Experience working within an ISO21434 compliant Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS) or equivalent.
  • Experience of vehicle network technologies such as CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet and Bluetooth.
  • Experience of common ECU security measures such as SecOC, Secure Boot, Secure Flashing, and UDS Security.
  • Experience leading or supporting several vehicle security testing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering and software development methodologies

Reporting to our Lead Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring a subset of the electrical and electronic content in our vehicles is sufficiently resilient against cyber-attack in accordance with global regulatory requirements such as UNECE Regulation 155. You will be part of our dynamic Functional Safety & Cybersecurity Team ensuring our internal engineering teams and Tier-1 suppliers have a clear understanding of the functional safety concepts, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables required to mitigate the potentially hazardous failure modes.
