Full Job Description

Alongside cranking the growth engine, this role will work closely with the CMO and executive team to develop the brand and market positioning strategy for Commify and its portfolio of international and local brands. Our internal design team will report directly to the Head of DG, ensuring their brand strategy can be immediately delivered and not simply remain a great idea on PowerPoint!

This role is a rare blend of the strategic and operational in a growth business that has already hit a scale to be meaningful. Naturally for a position of such significance, equity will be made available for the right candidate.

  • Ability to rapidly assimilate into and engender trust with the senior international leadership team.

  • Demonstration of sales experience and empathy with the challenges faced by sales colleagues.

  • Genuine leadership skills, from engaging and listening to the field marketing team's input, to acting as coach and mentor to both their direct team and the wider marketing function.

  • Establishing credibility with Product Management and Engineering colleagues to ensure they can be influenced and aligned to our chosen GTM plan, much of which will be created by the Head of DG.

  • A powerful voice in shaping, developing and debating new (international) market entry strategies.


  • Requirements
  • Delivery of campaigns to meet targets across new business, customer growth and customer retention.Ultimate owner of campaign content.

  • Management of campaign managers to create, test and execute growth campaigns.

  • Management of external creative and demand agencies with associated budgetary responsibility.

  • Management of internal design team to support campaign and brand strategy.

  • Creation and validation of buyer's journey across all stages of the customer lifecycle.

  • Delivery of a creative, not afraid of failure, approach to new methods of acquisition and retention of customers.

  • Delivery of campaign playbooks to sales and marketing colleagues to ensure effective activation in the field.

  • Implementation of an honest, open minded feedback loop between internal and external (agency) stakeholders to assess campaign performance.

  • Development of the overall Commify positioning and market strategy with the CMO and executive team.

  • Ownership of online presence, both at a brand and customer acquisition level.

  • Designing a migration path for acquired brands towards our chosen brand end state.

  • With Field Marketing Lead - development of the Commify growth marketing plan.

  • With Product Marketing - development of our product GTM including target identification, persona mapping, design of buyers journey, design of customer lifecycle and commercial offer.

  • With Sales and Marketing Operations - constant development and improvement of the demand funnel, including testing new paths, implementing re-targeting strategies and improvements to the Sales/Martech stack.
