Full Job Description

Liverpool University Dental Hospital is a Division within the LUHFT, providing dental care across all dental specialities through undergraduate, postgraduate and specialist service., To manage the department on a day-to-day basis and provide the highest quality dental nursing support to clinical staff within the department. The Senior Dental Nurse will be expected to work with the minimum of supervision, using their own initiative, and will carry out the duties in such a way as to make a direct and positive contribution to the organisation of the work and so aid the medical and dental staff to maximise the use of their time.

Applicants must hold appropriate professional General Dental Council registration, a recognised dental nurse qualification and a professionally recognised post registration qualification.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with excellent clinical and communication skills, who can work with the minimum of supervision to provide support and leadership to the dental nurse on the department.

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
