Senior Design Engineer

Be MAE's single point of contact to multiple projects with management responsibility for project deliverable.
- Reporting to a Principal Engineer on project related deliverables.
- Representing the MAE team in collaborative project team meetings.
- Undertaking site visits when appropriate.
- Collating feedback on solutions and contributing to lessons learned meetings.
- Preparing appropriate fully integrated permanent and temporary works proposals/solutions to meet the company's bid and project delivery stage requirements.
- Managing the design work of other staff members and external designers.
- Mentoring of junior staff.

HND/Bachelor/Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered or working towards Chartership with the ICE or IStructE.
- A design engineer with the ability to manage projects.
- A design engineer with capability to work autonomously or as part of team.
- A good communicator with a desire to develop relationships across the company.
- A person with an open-minded approach to solving civil and structural engineering challenges to find the best solution from all perspectives of a project.
- A person keen to visit the company's sites and offices across the south of the country.

Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Design Engineer to work with Murphy Applied Engineering in Stonecross, Warrington.
