The team…

Working across Integrated Adults and Social Care Services and designated functions across Children's Social Care and Lifelong Learning, and sitting within the Commissioning, Performance and Service Development service area, the team is integral to supporting our development and improvement work.

Reporting to the Service Manager for Development and Improvement, you will help lead and manage the Development and Improvement team, supporting Senior Managers through effective performance management, modelling good practice and promoting a culture of ambition, leadership, excellence, high performance and one team ethos.

About the role….

Working closely with senior managers, you will support the delivery of Service Improvement Plans, and supporting the implementation of key improvement recommendations and programmes of change.

With excellent project management skills, you will look to strengthen development and improvement decision making processes within the team to ensure they are insight led, informed by meaningful stakeholder analysis, delivered in a prioritised and planned way, and communicated effectively which will ensure benefits are realised and the Service Improvement Plans are delivered successfully.

You will look to promote coproduction and equity in all projects to ensure the voice of the person is recognized in the design and delivery of improvements and that they fully consider Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
