Full Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Dietitian to join our team, specialising in supporting pregnant women living with obesity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both prenatal nutrition and the complexities of obesity management.
The newly funded Maternal Weight Management Service (MWMS), will sit within the wider Weight Management Service (WMS) which includes both an Adult and Child service. We are excited to be developing the service further with development of the MWMS.
The successful candidate will be adept at offering empathetic support and guidance, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs while promoting overall well-being and a healthy pregnancy.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will support, develop and deliver one to one Dietetic clinics to patients living with maternal obesity supported by a Band 7 Maternal Dietitian and as part of the Weight Management Service Team.
The post holder will be part of a multi-disciplinary team offering specialist services for patients with complex needs. You will get the opportunity to enhance an in-depth knowledge of health behaviour change and the management of patients in this specialist area. This can include opportunities to formally train and add to your CPD portfolio.
The post holder will be based at St Cadocs Hospital. For face to face patient care this will include a range of sites across the Health Board.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
