Full Job Description

We're looking for a Senior Digital (BIM) Construction Coordinator to join our Build based in Crawley., As a Senior Digital Construction (BIM) Coordinator you'll be working within the Digital Team, supporting them by focussing on enabling the use of appropriate tools and technologies to support project delivery from inception to in use Your day to day will include:

  • Liaise with the information management team to ensure the use of the common data environment (CDE) is set-up, adhering to ISO 19650
  • Contribute content towards the production of monthly reports to identify and measure digital implementation and maturity within the business unit and across relevant projects
  • Supporting the project team(s) with fulfilling standards, methods and procedures using specified software and workflows.
  • Contribute to the BIM Execution Plan and other documents that are produced for the project(s)
  • Responsible for raising awareness and the profile of digital implementation within the business unit / project functional departments including business development, work winning, estimating, design management, building services, commercial, planning, operational and SHEQ driving our cultural and behavioural change to a digital first mentality

    Good understanding of the ISO 19650 series of documents
  • Can discuss openBIM standards such as IFC and COBie to support information interoperability
  • Understanding and experience of appropriate software tools to view and interrogate models
  • Very good skills in standard Microsoft Office 365
