As Senior Digital Project Consultant you will be a key contributor to the People Technology and Digital team focusing on creating a simple, integrated & digital experience for our people. You will be responsible for delivering the end to end digital journeys in a project setting across the BGUK market unit , identifying continuous improvement opportunities and collaborating across the business, to build digital self-service solutions that improve customer experience and deliver operational results for the business How you'll help us make Health happen

  • Manage the people technology project portfolio for the MU, working in partnership with a network of content and application owners as well as other functional partners such as BGIUK and Group Technology teams.
  • Ensure enhanced feature sets in existing technologies are implemented to continually improve digital people experience.
  • Consult and appropriately challenge, incoming requirements and project requests in order to deliver overall strategy, including prioritisation, requests for funding & validation of experience success measures.
  • By using best practice project management artifacts, you will ensure delivery in each project is optimised.
  • Manage relationships with third party development partners (internal and external) when working to adopt new digital technologies.
  • (When required) Design and develop innovative and creative Tier-0 solutions in partnership with a third-party supplier, which reflect business requirements and delivers intended business results.

    Experience using project management tools is essential.
  • Experience within Financial Services organisations desirable.
  • Experienced in digital consulting - including but not limited to incident management systems, multi-channel logistics, automation, and AI.
  • The ability to effectively prioritise tasks in order to meet pre agreed timescales, deadlines and budget.
  • An ability to manage a budget, providing cost estimates to the business & contracting with third party organisations.
  • Stakeholder management - can build partnerships with key stakeholders by communicating effectively, influencing and providing a high level of support.
  • Knowledge of UK regulatory bodies and legal requirements and associated impacts
  • High level of knowledge and skill in best practice digitisation and the ability to translate digital theories into use cases for the business.
  • Highly experienced in using content management systems and applying content management practices to create a seamless thread through across the people technology landscape.
  • Well-developed communication skills, with a high proficiency in written English and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Highly developed planning and organisational skills
  • A strong sense of team and passion for collaborating with others to deliver an outcome.
