Full Job Description

We are looking for an individual to be accountable for, in conjunction with vertical department, setting the strategy and execution for Digital, Processes & Tools across UK Network Development and wider teams. This is a critical role to ensure consistency and alignment across ND both market and vertical.

You will work to ensure that the execution of vision and strategy is planned within financial and resource element aligned to Networks & Delivery roadmaps. This will include ensuring the data strategy, data lake, and associated analytics and automation products deliver value. This role will ensure that maximum value is delivered from these services and work with data and automation teams to deliver to time, cost, and quality against joint roadmaps.

What You'll Do

  • Establish digital strategy for UK ND aligned to ND/NSE strategy


  • Building the overall digital roadmap, identifying business drivers and benefit


  • Simplification of processes and tools to drive forward the digitalisation and automation strategy


  • Driving the harmonisation and automation of Network Development tools within the UK market, working with internal and external solution providers to establish tools and digitalisation


  • Ensuring the necessary process methodology expertise to achieve ISO certifications


  • Establishing process methodology expertise for process and quality assurance and improvement within the UK Network Development Organisation


  • Define and own the CapEx and OpEx budget required to deliver digital transformation and to deliver in line with unit cost targets, ensuring consistency across time, cost & quality


  • Own digital governance & ensure collaboration across UK Networks and communication of progress across the wider organisation


  • Build a team responsible for driving tools and digital base results across ND UK


  • Proactive search and independent implementation of innovations in the areas of project and process management as well as digitalisation and automation


  • Understand and application opportunities of big data platforms and automation tooling evolution


  • Present back a unified Digital roadmap, strategies and new technologies to both market and vertical leaders

    Experience working in an agile methodology within a digital or network environment


  • Knowledge and practical experience of managing and executing transformation projects


  • An experienced manager with exposure to building and managing locally distributed teams


  • Understanding and experience of applying advanced data practices, cloud, and ML/AI/GenAI (including cost and opportunities)


  • Excellent communication and senior (up to Executive level) stakeholder management skills within a matrix environment


  • Strong analytical, conceptual and organisational skills with and entrepreneurial mindset
