Full Job Description

  • To achieve the outcome of the "ERP Together" programme, S4/HANA ERP solution will be deployed across GSK's Pharma and Vaccines businesses to 300+ legal entities including 80+ commercial markets, 35+ manufacturing sites, R&D facilities & pilot plants, all shared financial services, and additionally GSKs customer, supplier and logistics partners.
  • Design and ownership of the strategic deployment roadmap, methodology, and drive subsequent delivery of ERP/S4 transformation for GSK Tech.
  • Define and own budget for deployment - expected circa £250M-£350M over 4-5 years.
  • Delivery of the multi-year deployment plan to budget, on time, and managing any risk to go-live through solid governance processes (SteerCo, Phase gates, Go/No-Go).
  • Programme leadership of the wave deployments, including line management of Deployment management resources (Wave delivery leads, project managers, cutover managers)., Drive the deployments to be ready to cutover on time, by holding tech and business teams to account to deliver to plan, and through management of dependencies across the programme and other GSK initiatives.
  • Act as a point of escalation for the deployment workstreams, to ensure support and alignment from other tech delivery functions.
  • Appointment, and line management, accountability of wave lead resources and other delivery team (project managers, cutover leads). Ensure the timely onboarding of tech deployment resources to support the deployment phase is managed through functional towers and via the strategic partners..
  • Lead engagement with external parties e.g. System and Business integration partner accountable for supporting the deployment delivery activities.
  • Accountable for driving regular communications on the delivery programme, through a mixture of face-to-face and virtual interactions, plus via social media tools.
  • Manage senior stakeholders across tech and business functions, including Commercial, Global Supply Chain, Global Support Functions and R&D.
  • Ensure readiness with all compliance requirements including GxP, Sarbanes Oxley and all other regulatory / security requirements.
  • Ensure the transition of business operations through "interim states" where go-live does not allow the end-state solution to be fully deployed until all relevant entities have jointly cutover to the new solution.
  • Continuous improvement mindset to drive efficiency in the deployment and building learnings into the later waves.

  • Master or Bachelor Degree Level in Business & Information Technology
  • Demonstrates functional expertise and general intellectual capacity and the ability to learn.
