Full Job Description

The Senior Director of Sales will play a pivotal role in leading the sales strategy and growth initiatives for one of our largest hyperscale clients with international data center projects. As a key member of the EMEA Leadership Group, this role will contribute actively to the formulation and execution of our broader business strategy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and lead all sales, business development, and marketing efforts for a major hyperscaler account, focusing on market competitiveness, pricing strategies, and implementing value-based solution sales.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships at the senior executive level with C-suite decision-makers and other key stakeholders to drive commercial opportunities and close deals.
  • Lead bid strategy and oversee sales responses to client requirements, ranging from standard colocation needs to custom-built or build-to-suit solutions.
  • Actively engage with prospects, partners, and existing clients to nurture leads and expand the sales pipeline.
  • Drive the company's achievement of customer acquisition and revenue goals, providing annual sales and marketing strategies and account plans with regular updates and modifications.
  • Research and develop strategic marketing opportunities and new project initiatives, evaluating sales effectiveness, methods, and results.
  • Manage sales and marketing budgets effectively, represent the company at industry events, and collaborate with the executive team to develop long-term account and market penetration plans.
  • Serve as a role model for the Vantage Way and Company Values, promoting a culture of collaboration, respect, and excellence.

    Extensive experience in executive sales leadership roles with a minimum of 5 years in the EMEA region, demonstrating a track record of negotiating multi-million dollar contracts successfully.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or equivalent international experience preferred.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, along with strong presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically diverse teams, internally and externally.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business challenges and provide simplified solutions.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and self-directed; capable of managing multiple projects under pressure and across different time zones.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the EMEA region and globally as needed.
