Full Job Description

  • You will be responsible for delivering projects, interpreting and presenting gathered data and delivering full ecologist reports. You will office based with occasional travel to site within the region, there may also be some remote working possible.
  • You will support project managers on the delivery of ecological requirements as well as assisting with the technical and financial performance of ecological projects.
  • You will analyse, evaluate and interpret ecological data.
    • This position in based in Tonbridge in Kent. You will office based with occasional travel to site within the region, there may also be some remote working possible. The role is paying £400 per day and has been deemed inside IR35.

  • You will ideally be a graduate or an associate member of the chartered institute of ecology (CIEEM)
  • You should be experienced in providing mitigation advice (following relevant guidance and legislation).
  • A good understanding of ecologist practices within a railway environment is needed
  • You will need a current PTS licence, Bachelors Degree or equivalent
