This is an exciting time of growth and change within East Berkshire NHS Trust as our CAMH service is currently working collaboratively with children and young people, and partners to deliver the Governments Programme for mental health support to be available in schools. To support the development of our newly established Mental Help Support Teams, we are looking to recruitx3SeniorEducation Mental Health Practitioner/Senior Children's Wellbeing Practitionersand Supervisorsto support the implementation of two new Mental Health Support Teams(Bracknell and Slough). We have x2 vacancies in Slough and x1vacancyin Bracknell. In line with the Government's priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the new Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP)/Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP)role is an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based early interventions for children and young people, working across both educationaland communitysettings and healthcare sectors in England 1. To be trained and confident in the use of CYP IAPT principles,evidence basedinterventions and routine outcome measures. 1. To care co-ordinate and manage a defined caseload of children and young people presenting with emotional health and wellbeing difficulties in schools 1. To co-ordinate and deliver individualised care packages / programmes for children and young people and evaluate these programmes, ensuringhigh standardsof practicein accordance withnational guidelines and trust policy. 1. To provide day to day clinical and supervisory support for the Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP)/Children Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP). 1. Toprovidespecialist mental health advice, consultation and signposted using anoutcome basedtriage model, to schools 1. To provide training toschoolsstaff,parentsand carers in conjunction with colleagues. 1. Within schools actively promote the wholeschool basedapproach to developing andmaintainingemotional health and well-being. 1. To train and mentor students and less experienced members of the team. 1. To act as an autonomous practitioner with an understanding of own limitations and recognition of when to seek support.
