Full Job Description
We are delighted to invite applications for the role of a Senior Educational Psychologist in Nottingham EPS and to join our creative and dynamic team of EPs.
We are looking for a psychologist who:
- Is a professionally qualified Educational Psychologist with HCPC registration.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Works within a consultative/joint problem solving framework
- Applies psychology in creative ways to have a positive impact on young people both at a casework level and at a systemic level.
- Has excellent written communication skills and competent use of information technology and good organisational skills
- Has excellent skills in leading and managing and who can effectively support the PEP in setting the strategic direction of the EP service
- Can adapt their management style to suit individual needs and who can deal with challenge with empathy and rigour and work collaboratively both within the team and within the wider Local Authority to enable further change and development - A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post., Disability Confident About Disability Confident A Disability Confident employer will generally offer an interview to any applicant that declares they have a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the job as defined by the employer.
