Full Job Description

Merton EPS is a well-established and highly regarded team which plays a key role in the implementation of the Children and Families Act 2014 and offers traded services to pre-school settings, schools and colleges. The EPS offers exciting opportunities for projects and interventions to be delivered such as CBT, ELSA, VIG and NAS's EarlyBird Plus and TeenLife. We also have a long-standing reputation of supporting trainee EPs on placement, which we are proud of.

Merton Council has made a significant investment to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Integrated Service (SENDIS) and we are now recruiting to a number of positions across the service which includes the expansion of the Educational Psychology Service (EPS)
As a Senior Educational Psychologist, you will take a strategic lead role within the EP service, and have responsibility for supervising colleagues and an allocated caseload. You will contribute to the leadership of the EPS management team, using your good interpersonal and communication skills to inspire and motivate others.
About you
If you are committed to improving the life chances of children and young people and want to join an innovative dynamic EPS then Merton is the place for you.
To be considered for this post, you will need to have a qualification in Educational Psychology (e.g. Doctorate or Masters), which permits Graduate Registration with the British Psychological Society, alongside a current HCPC Registration. An enhanced DBS check is requested for this role.
