- Project Management
- Contract Management
- Supervision of Junior Engineers
- Preparation of quotations
- Client liaison
- Provision of technical advice
- Engineering calculations and analysis including structural, hydraulic and soil mechanics
- Preparation of design drawings
Hold a Civil Engineering degree - Recent industry experience within the water/hydraulic engineering sector
- Preferably Incorporated or Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and / or Institution of Structural Engineers, or commensurate relevant civil engineering experience, preferably on Environment Agency, Water Authority and Utility related projects

Fishtek Consulting Ltd provides high quality civil engineering and fisheries consultancy services across the UK, Ireland, SE Asia, and West Africa.
We are composed of a team of Civil and Structural Engineers and fisheries biologists engaging with a wider network of specialists across the river environment. Our Engineers are primarily focused upon the design and construction of fish and eel passes to overcome river obstructions such as dams and weirs to make a positive difference to the environment., We are a leading, Devon-based fishing and engineering consultancy firm. We craft sustainable and innovative solutions to remedy the challenges facing fish populations in freshwater and marine environments.
Fishtek is an industry leader in designing fish and eel passes and providing fisheries consultancy and engineering services throughout the UK and further afield. We work with and for charitable trusts, non-departmental public bodies and multiple water industry organisations, including the Environment Agency, Yorkshire Water, Affinity Water and Next Generation Consultancy Services.
