Full Job Description

  • Oversee the management of the sites activities e.g. temporary works, structural packages, pre-cast installation, etc, ensuring design compliance, RAMS, installation, inspections and loading and unloading
  • Ensure main dimensional control is established and maintained
  • Develop a good working relationship with the clients team, consultants, sub-contractors and external parties to ensure the successful execution of all project specific engineering matters
  • Ensure all project specifications, quality requirements (including on site inspections and checks) and industry good practices are followed throughout the project.
  • Provide support and assist in the career development of the engineering team.
  • Offer guidance and opportunities to assist those working towards a professional qualification.
  • Reporting of all the site operations to the senior project management
  • Attending design and progress meetings
  • Taking a proactive role in the development of Engineering best practice as required at an OU and BU level.
  • Support in planning and progress monitoring of on-site works
  • Ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained at all times on site with a proactive approach.

    Chartered Engineer status (e.g. MICE/ MIstructE)
  • Minimum BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience on projects of equivalent complexity
