Full Job Description
- Undertaking C&I system design, providing advice and producing evidence in support of legislative, safety and technical requirements
- Liaising with internal and external customers as part of a technical team
- Undertaking peer reviews
- Articulating and presenting technical arguments, clearly, logically, and simply
- Coordinating and executing engineering tasks or packages of work, providing guidance and advice in a consistent professional manner
- Taking notice of timescale and quality standards as well as providing leadership where required, As the Senior Engineer within the AVC team you shall provide support to the Principal Engineers and/or external specialists during development, analysis, integration and verification of platform control and instrumentation systems. You will also be involved in leading analysis and production of technical reports and team deliverables. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
A relevant Science, Technology, Engineering or, Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an Engineering background - Experience in PLC and SCADA programming, C&I system design, verification, test design or parts specification would be advantageous
- Demonstrable experience of engineering lifecycle and technical specialities
- Working towards relevant Professional Registration
