Senior Engineer – Mechanisms & Glazing

The role involves delivering engineering design solutions, from concept to production, and validation for body closures, including doors, access panels, seals, latch mechanisms, window systems and aid in the nominating of existing propriety systems and components. What You'll Do:

• Support for BOM, including mass information.
• Creation of CAD models, component drawings, assembly drawings, exploded views, installation drawings and data packs, including FMEA's and DVP's, to support project requirements, in accordance with quality acceptance standards.
• Support the 'fit and function' evaluation of subsystem components.
• Support the performance testing of subsystem components.
• Collating of test results and concern reports., This role will be working from our Hethel or Wellesbourne facilities, within our flexible working policy.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in UK without VISA sponsorship.
  
  HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering.
• Technical knowledge that covers the delivery of Closures & Mechanisms systems design.
• Project engineer experience, delivering automotive commodities.
• Enthusiasm, communication, and presentation skills.
• Organisational ability.
