Full Job Description
As a Senior Engineering Supervisor at Sodexo in Quilter Senator House, London, you are a dedicated leader and problem-solver, passionate about operational excellence and team mentorship. In this pivotal role, you'll provide support to the engineering team, oversee the safe and efficient operation of critical building systems, and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. What you'll do:
Lead and supervise the engineering team, providing training, mentorship, and direct management support.
Ensure the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, including heating boilers, HVAC systems, compressed air systems, and building controls.
Collaborate with other engineers to deliver a seamless service within and outside operating hours.
Manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Oversee document management, including CAFM systems and risk assessments, and provide administrative support to site leadership.
Undertake authorized person duties and troubleshoot system malfunctions efficiently.
Deputize for the Engineering Manager during absences and support site operations.
Qualification in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance, and mechanical systems like HVAC and BMS.
Demonstrable leadership skills and experience in supervising or mentoring engineering teams.
Proficiency in IT systems, including CAFM and MS Office, with excellent organizational abilities.
A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with strong familiarity with health & safety regulations.
