+ Support the Estates Assurance Manager with assurance activities as required.
+ Lead on the development of an agreed risk based audit programme for environmental compliance and sustainability within Estates Infrastructure projects, including providing crown oversight of the implementation of this programme.
+ Lead on the development, review and assurance of Sustainability Appraisals and DREAM assessments.

Person specification
We are looking for someone who has:
+ Knowledge of risk based audit programmes for environmental compliance and sustainability.
+ Creating and managing an Aspects Register.
+ Water abstraction and effluent treatment and disposal.
+ A strong understanding of environmental and sustainability management.
+ An understanding of industry best practise in relation to environmental and sustainability management and be able to transfer these practises to Dstl.

Environmental qualification at National Qualifications Framework Level 6 or equivalent.
