Full Job Description

The Senior Facility Specialist role covers our facility management responsibilities and requirements across our highly regulated estates. Your primary responsible will be managing and delivering a workplace environment that is safe, secure, and compliant with all relevant regulations and legislation, thus enabling delivery of requirements to meet the needs of our programme demanders. You will manage, support, and maintain a designated portfolio of facilities which may encompass a variety of processes and activities; one of your key focuses is to ensure maximum facility availability every day. Whilst delivering facility management activities, there will be requirements to act as the key interface between the facilities team, projects, residents, and other business functions/stakeholders. You will also manage relationships with stakeholders, our suppliers and other partners ensuring that all safety and compliance aspects are delivered in accordance with the SLA's and KPI's link to a strict standard of management reporting.

  • IOSH is a minimum requirement, but NEBOSH is preferred (or recognised equivalent Health and Safety qualification).
  • Prior Facility, Health and Safety, relevant management experience is essential.

  • IWFM professional membership is preferred (or recognised equivalent professional body)
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement by identifying problems, evaluating options and formulating effective process, system, and organisational solutions.
  • Capable of maintaining a high degree of effectiveness in a multitask role, managing priorities and delivering to challenging timescales.
  • Decision making skills that have either a high degree of complexity or diversity and takes prime responsibility.
  • Effective motivational skills, and a great collaborator.
  • Logical and analytical thinker, enabling performance.
  • To have excellent communication, presentational and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working in/with project teams to ensure delivery of modifications to facilities/plant.
  • You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
