Full Job Description

The Fellow may be expected to participate in teaching of the specialist registrars and occasionally other medical and non-medical personnel.

To gain experience in clinical and research aspects of Structural Interventional Cardiology. Conducting commercially sponsored clinical trials is a major part of this post and this requires attention to detail and enthusiasm for clinical research.,

  • GMC Registration with Full Licence to Practice

  • Higher MedicalDegree


  • Desirable criteria

  • CCT in Cardiology or equivalent, Completed interventional coronary fellowship, Interest in research with publications, Sufficient leadership, organisational, communication, professional and personal skills to undertake effectively the role of clinical fellow in a large teaching hospital.

  • Good personal and interpersonal skills

  • Good spoken and written English. Communication skills should be highly developed.

  • Experience of teaching undergraduates and trainees

  • Experience of routine clinical audit


  • Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of the organisation of the NHS and the Government's agenda for its modernisation.

  • Computing skills: ability to use word processor, spreadsheet, program and web browser.

  • Management training and experience, You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
