Full Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Finance professional to take on the Business Lead role for our new planning, budgeting and forecasting project. This position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join us during a period of transformation as we work towards creating a truly modern finance function. The implementation of the new Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software will play a key role in enhancing our financial planning and analysis, ultimately helping us deliver a customer-first housing experience for a better future.
In this dynamic role you will act as the main business facing point of contact for the project, you will work closely with stakeholders across the Group to ensure the new system and processes meet the needs of the business and our customers. You will be responsible for the delivery of all project activities that require business knowledge and insight, data gathering, analysis and transformation, testing and training.
Driven by your passion for Finance with a keen interest and strong expertise in financial planning, you understand the importance of balancing people, processes, and technology. By doing so, you can really help make a difference by creating efficiency for your colleagues and help deliver improved outcomes for the Group.
Some of the things we are looking for:
Proven experience in financial planning and accounting in a large and complex organisation with substantial budgets
Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years of experience, including a minimum of 1 year experience at a team leader level or equivalent
Proven ability to collaboratively engage with all business units across a wide range of business stakeholders
Ability to establish strong, sustained working relationships based on respect and effective negotiation and influencing skills
A natural leader of people with excellent managerial and motivational skills
A recognised project management qualification or relevant professional experience would be beneficial, Disability Confident

Please note: While the role is advertised as Senior Finance Business Partner to reflect its level, the formal job title for this position is EPM Business Lead.
Although this role is home-based, you should be able to travel to our Group offices or other locations as needed for client or team meetings. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park in Solihull and Central Park in Worcester.
