Full Job Description

Accountable to the Head of Finance Operations, you will drive the performance of the designated business area through insightful financial analysis and influencing, challenging and supporting Operations and Commercial colleagues.
You will also ensure the financial integrity and control of the designated business area and compliance with relevant legislative and statutory requirements for financial reporting, as well as focus on and promote business growth opportunities within the ERFs.
As part of the role you will work closely with site Plant Managers and Senior Management, guiding them to ensure they understand how each area of the business is performing against set targets and helping to improve that performance.
You will create monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts showing monthly deliverables and be able to present this to senior leaders of the business.
You will drive business and Process improvement with a focus on Financial Systems and Performance reporting and Budgeting and Forecasting.
Our ideal Finance Business Partner will be able to demonstrate

Good knowledge of management accounting and business analysis.
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and business reporting systems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Use of initiative and confident decision making.
Time management and priority setting.
Experience of building effective working relationships with other financial professionals and with non-finance managers / budget holders.
Report writing and analysis.
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or equivalent.
Degree qualified or equivalent.
Full driving licence.

Viridor

The salary for this role will be £65,000 per year, plus car allowance, and participation in an annual bonus scheme, in addition to our great range of benefits.
