Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will oversee a team of Finance Managers, Management Accountants, and Assistant Management Accountants, ensuring our business's financial health and strategic success. With a hybrid working arrangement (three days at our Customer Support Centre), this role offers a perfect balance of challenge and flexibility.   • Lead and inspire a team of 13 finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including the preparation of management accounts, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Drive operational efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements in financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Support strategic decision-making through variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and insightful financial commentary.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, from operational teams to senior management and external auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory standards, maintaining robust controls and up-to-date knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP.
