Full Job Description

  • Through the IBP process, annual budgeting and regular monthly reporting and forecasting, analyse, review and challenge data from the business area teams
  • Lead the business performance team to drive quality, consistent and insightful reporting
  • Summarise business performance reporting information & present to the Finance Director, the E&I Leadership team and other business stakeholders
  • Support the business stakeholders to aid their understanding of financial information
  • Contribute to modernisation initiatives to drive standardisation, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Drive continuous improvement processes including working with the wider FP&A team to share best practice

    A member of a UK recognised professional accountancy body with at least 5 years post qualifying experience and a strong track record in the FP&A domain Passionate about improvements and maintaining a continuous improvement culture
  • Broad experience of finance management and planning, coupled with excellent planning and process management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish efficient and effective working relationships and to influence key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to lead, inspire and motivate the direct team of reports and other wider finance colleagues involved in FP&A-related activities

    Within the finance function, Financial Planning and Analysis teams are responsible for leading the delivery of high quality and forward looking financial analysis and insights to the business. Bringing together FP&A experts from across the UK footprint, they are the primary points of contact into business Finance Directors and provide crucial insights on the key business and financial performance. Alongside this the FP&A team work alongside other finance capabilities to drive the enhancement of key business processes, working towards establishing data driven and digitally enabled performance reporting to meet the future business needs.
