Full Job Description

As a Senior Financial analyst in Witney, you will work in a modern, highly automated state of the art facility with an employee base of approximately 1,000 people, and you'll be involved in the day-to-day functioning of the Finance department. This will include Business Partnering a wide range of Operations and R&D leadership teams, as well as owning the Site's Headcount tracking (including presenting and reviewing results with the senior leadership team). You'll also liaise with the US and multiple teams across the site working on Budgeting and Forecasting including the analysis and forecast of significant levels of spend across multiple areas of the P&L and Balance Sheet with the aim being to present results and obtain commentary for variances from Senior Leadership.

You will also experience times when you're working on Process Improvement initiatives and projects with the support of our External systems consultants. On a more regular basis, you'll be collaborating with the wider Finance team on the timely completion of month end including preparing and sending relevant month end reports to various parties across the business. You will also support the annual Overhead Standard Cost setting process and be able to analyse, interpret and concisely present large volumes of financial data to both Finance and non-Finance leaders and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be highly proactive and diligent individual, passionate about Business Partnering and Process improvements as well has solid background in dealing with large volumes of data and condensing them into Executive Summaries ready for Senior Leadership consumption. The candidate will ideally be a fully qualified Accountant (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or working towards qualifying in the next 12 months. You will need to have good oral and written communication skills to be able to prepare reports, interpret results, and provide effective summaries. You must be organised and flexible in your approach to work, with good attention to detail and being able to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
